The products handled by Webshippy cover a wide spectrum, but there are some products that cannot be sent according to the rules of our delivery partners, and therefore we cannot handle these products either, due to certain parameters.
We handle the following parcel dimensions:
1. National package delivery (Hungary) - GLS
Height: max. 60 cm
Width: max.80 cm
Length: max. 200 cm
Weight: max. 40 kg
in addition, the circumference of the package cannot exceed 3 meters (circumference: 2x height + 2x width + 1x length = max. 3 meters).
2. GLS collection points (Hungary):
The maximum parameters and weight for parcel collection points are the same as with GLS home delivery.

3. Foxpost parcel lockers (Hungary):
The lockers’ maximum parameters are 61 x 36 x 60 cm, for a maximum weight of 25 kg.
Therefore, one 71-liter box fits the locker.
4. International road transport (EU) - Packeta
Maximum parameters of parcels that can be delivered to reciving points:
Weight: max.* 10 kg
Length of one side: max. 120 cm
Total length of sides: max. (e.g. 50 x 40 x 30 cm size parcel): 150 cm
The min. size of the parcel: 10 x 7 x 1 cm

*Important! In two countries (Italy and Greece) charges can apply based on volumetric weight calculated based on the volume of the package. In other words, if the volumetric weight is higher than the actual weight of the parcel (kg), the charge is based on the volumetric weight. If it’s lower, it is based on the actual weight. Oversized parcel surcharge
“Oversized parcel” is a parcel that exceeds standard dimensions – the length of one side exceeds 120 cm and/or the total length of all sides exceeds 150 cm (60 × 60 × 40 cm) and/or total weight exceeds 10 kg. In addition, an oversized package is a package that is identified as one, or registered as one by the sender in our Information system.
The sender is charged a gross 15 000 HUF (approx. 45 €) of surcharge for an oversized parcel.
5. International air shipping (Global) - DHL
DHL uses 2 different calculations to determine the weight of the package:
The traditional way and the so-called volumetric weight calculation*. The higher of the two calculation methods is used to determine the transport cost.
Weight: max. 70 kg per parcel and total of 300 kg per shipment
Size: max. 20x80x80 cm per parcel
*Volumetric weight (kg) = length x width x height (cm3) /5000.
If the volumetric weight is higher than the actual weight of the parcel (kg), the charge is based on the volumetric weight and if it’s lower, it is based on the actual real weight.
DHL does not ship packages exceeding the dimensions of 300 kg in weight and 120 cm in length. Moreover, the parcel packaging has to comply with the following requirements:
