How can you export your products in Webshippy to a spreadsheet? Which table can you use for what?

There are countless reasons why you might want to see your products in an excel spreadsheet:

  • to analyze your product inventory,

  • monthly consumption of products,

  • checking the details of products,

  • bulk price management,

  • bulk product name changes,

  • uploading products to other systems,

  • etc.

Of course, Webshippy also offers the possibility to do this, as you can easily export the products in the system, modify the data and in some cases upload the changes back to Webshippy in a few seconds.

Depending on the task, you can sort your products into tables in two ways:

  • you can request a Product stock report, which will include the stock quantity of your products, monthly sales, net sales price, product VAT key and physical parameters: size, weight. You can typically use this table for inventory management and analysis of your available stock, but it is not suitable for product replenishment.

  • The Export Products operation allows you to retrieve the details of your products that you have entered when creating and uploading products: product name, variant name, SKU number, barcode, selling price, VAT rate, product parameters and reorder notification limit.
For Marketplace catalogue products, this export includes product categories, wholesale and catalogue prices, VAT rates, suggested retail prices, product descriptions, product image contact details. This table can help you to manage your product master data, to make bulk changes, but it can also be very useful to manage your products uploaded to or selected from the Marketplace catalogue: setting consumer prices, editing product descriptions, etc. This table also gives you the possibility to upload product data back (Modify product data).*

You can find both export options in the Products list: click on Product Management - Products.

Under 5000 products the table will be created in .xlsx format, for over 5000 products the downloadable table will be in .csv format!

*IMPORTANT: If you want to use the exported spreadsheet to make bulk changes to your products in the system, please make sure that you DO NOT MAKE CHANGES to certain data!

These data are SKU number, Barcode.

You can read more information about this here:

First select the products you want to export, then click on "Export products" or "Product set report (XLSX)"

If you want to see all products in the table, click on the "Actions" button in the top right corner, then "Select all XX products"

If you want to modify any data in the Products master data, you can do so using the "Product Export" table. You can easily import this table back into your Webshippy system: just save the changes in the table and then follow the instructions in the Import Products section by clicking on the link Import Products in bulk

When modifying, make sure not to change the article number, otherwise the product - with the new article number - will be duplicated in Webshippy's system, once again being entered as a new product.

IMPORTANT! The "Product Stock Report" table is not suitable for re-importing data. By selecting "Export Products", the modified product data can be re-imported into Webshippy, but care must be taken NOT to MODIFY the SKU number and Barcode data!
