How can you get your orders to your customers?

We deliver your orders anywhere in the world, both in Hungary and internationally. In this post we have summarised everything you need to know about our delivery options. Webshippy selects only the best shipping companies to ensure a safe and punctual arrival to your clients. We offer your webshop the following delivery options:

In Hungary

We use GLS delivery service in Hungary to get your packages to the delivery address provided by your clients. The basic delivery fee includes delivery within 1 working day, 3 delivery attempts, SMS and e-mail notification with a 3-hour interval for the expected arrival of the parcel (including the courier's phone number so that your customer can contact him/her to arrange the parcel pick-up) and a Fuel Surcharge.

You can opt for amenities such as C.O.D. handling, return parcel service, or credit card payment with C.O.D. What’s more, there are hundreds of collection points in Hungary where your customers can pick up their parcels in person.

GLS pick-up points are also available inland so your customers can personally pick-up their orders at hundreds of its pick-up points.

To deliver your packages with a cost-effective option, you can also use MPL home-delivery service or MPL pick-up points. Your customer will get an e-mail notification (in case of a pick-up point, also an SMS notification) with a 4-hour interval for the expected arrival of the parcel. After 2 delivery attempts the package will be placed at the nearest post office and can be picked up within 5-10 days. The courier can accept credit card as well, the delivery fee includes a value insurance up the amount of 100 000 HUF. Packages can be picked up at the pick-up points for up to 2 calendar days.

You can also choose inland the Sprinter courier service as a home-delivery option, they can also undertake pallet delivery beside the multi-package ones.

We automatically send your package inland with the Sprinter courier service, if GLS cannot deliver it due to its characteristics, parameters or peculiarities.

Packeta Z-Box and Z-Pont pick-up points represent more than 1 000 additional points where your customers can place their orders. Only limited sized and weighted packages can be requested to the pick-up points, details are included in our current fee table.

Among the pick-up points, the Pick Pack Points cannot be missing, hundreds of them are also available in the Webshippy portfolio.

You can also send your parcels to FoxPost parcel lockers available all over the country. FoxPost also sends SMS and email notifications about the expected arrival of the package. It’s important that the orders include the client’s phone number (starting with the country code) in +36XXXXXXXX format (+36 is the Hungarian country code).

Only limited sized and weighted packages can be requested to both Foxpost and Packeta pick-up points, details are included in our current fee table.

International delivery

If the client does not specify otherwise, the default international delivery service provider is Packeta. In countries where Packeta is not available, or where packages cannot be sent by Packeta due to their size, weight or other characteristics, GLS will deliver the foreign packages. If GLS does not deliver to the given country, or if it cannot be sent with GLS due to its size and/or weight, then DHL Express will be the delivery partner.

So, for foreign delivery, the default service order is:

Packeta > GLS > DHL Express.

How to request the setting of the default courier service

If you want differently from the above mentioned method (you can even change the default provider per country), please send a customer service ticket and specify which courier service you want to choose. We will set the requested one as a default, but if the chosen courier service cannot deliver the package due to its size or weight, the order will automatically be fulfilled with the next service provider in the order.

So you can receive orders from all over the world because we deliver your packages fast and safe anywhere within the EU by road, and outside the EU with DHL Express by air shipping (in the case of international air transports, cash on delivery is not possible anywhere).

Important! Customs clearance is required for countries outside the EU, so be sure to include a printed invoice with your packages. If you have any questions regarding this, please contact our customer service team via chat or by sending a customer service ticket.

The available delivery methods, delivery deadlines and fees are listed in the table below:

Important! All packages sent to a country outside the EU must contain an invoice and the amount of the invoice cannot be 0 (zero) neither in HUF nor in a foreign currency. The invoice value in such cases mut be at least 1: 1 HUF, 1 $, or 1 €.

For Shopify, currently we do not have any options that would allow you to make these different shipping methods available by installing a single app.

Settings with API:

With the Webshippy API documentation, it can be developed for the system of almost any unique webshop, so that the customer can choose the various delivery methods, and the webshop's system can properly transfer this information to our system.
