When products are automatically uploaded, they will be placed in a category.

The category will depend on the webshop system you are uploading to.

Unas

In the case of an Unas webshop, you can specify that the uploaded products should be placed in the same category as they are in in the Webshippy catalogue, or you can specify the category in which they should be placed. If the category does not exist, it will be automatically created in Unas.

For products uploaded to the Unas online store, only 2 category levels will be uploaded, products in the third level category will automatically be classified into the second level.

Shoprenter

For Shoprenter, uploaded products are not categorized by default, they need to be set afterwards. You can use the Export Products tool to help you with this: the table of products exported from Webshippy's system will also include the categories into which the catalogue products have been classified. From this table, copy the category names to the corresponding product import table in Shoprenter, which you can upload to your webshop with just a few clicks.

WooCommerce

WooCommerce uploads the themes to the webshop using a csv file. This csv file contains the categories of the products defined in Webshippy, as well as the category structure. So you can modify them as you like before uploading them to the webshop. Once uploaded, the products will be placed in the categories you specified, and if these categories did not exist before, they will be automatically created.

Important! If you change the category classification of a product afterwards, it may be overwritten by the system during a re-upload. So before you upload any product to your online store again, test 1-2 products first to see what the consequences of the re-sync will be.
