You can upload your products to your store in several ways, depending on the platform you use. Automatic stock sync also works with most e-commerce systems, so if you have a ShopRenter, UNAS, Shopify, or Woocommerce store, your customers will always see live stock.
Important:
Product uploading is a time-consuming operation, depending on the quantity, it can take up to 2 days for all the data and product photos of your products to appear in your online store. Therefore, we recommend you to start uploading up to 5000 products at a time, as you can safely upload more than that in several instalments in your online store.
The size of your webshop's hosting space also affects the success of the upload. If you run out of space, the product upload will stall. Therefore, before uploading a large amount of products, check the size of your storage space and if necessary, increase it.
I. Automated product upload
Automated product upload allows you to upload your selected products to your online store with a single click, so that all your product details, recommended retail prices, product descriptions, images and the VAT key are displayed immediately and you do not have to copy them manually. Of course, you can modify all the data in the usual way within the administration system of your online shop.
Navigate to the Product Management / Products page
2. Use the checkbox on the left of the products to select the products you want to upload
3. Click on the Upload Products button in the top right corner of the screen
4. In the pop-up window, select the store you want to upload the products to and click the Sync button
5. Sync will start in the background and may take longer depending on the amount of products.
Remember, you can still edit the products in your online store afterwards. You can put them in the appropriate collection, change product descriptions and sale prices.
II. Manual product upload
If you are using a webshop engine where automated product upload is not yet available, you will need to manually enter product data. From Webshippy's interface, you can easily copy the detailed product data sheet and download product photos.
Important! If you are dropshipping, make sure that you have entered the SKU number of the product accurately in your webshop, which is listed in Webshippy's system. Otherwise, the system will not recognize that it is a dropshipping sale.
Importing products - updating stock values in your webshop! Mandatory!
After uploading your dropshipping products, once you have finished creating the products in your webshop and you have made sure that you have entered the SKU correctly, on the Product Management / Products page, click on the Import Products button in the top right corner of the screen. This will identify to Webshippy's system that the new dropshipping products have been uploaded and will then work to synchronise them with your stock.
Important! After uploading dropshipping products, if you don't click on the Import products button, the synchronization of the dropshipping products' stocks will not work.
