In order for us to be able to process incoming orders, we must have all available products in our system. For this reason, it is crucial that you carefully list all your products at Webshippy.

Go to "Product management" – "Products" and click on “New product” at the top - right corner to register the details of your product. Don’t forget to save your data at the end!

In case you forget something, you will receive a system notification.

You must provide the following information to create a product:

Article number (SKU number): This is what identifies your product and gives its identity. This is the identification presented in product lists, shipments and orders. All of your items must have their own article number. If an item in your webshop is available in different colors and can they be selected individually, all colors must have a separate article number (and barcode). If your products did not have an article number before, assign them some kind of identification. In this case, please keep in mind the following:

  • Use only small and capital letters, numbers or perhaps hyphens, but no accents;

  • Don’t include spaces or any special characters either;

  • An article number must be a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 20 characters;

  • Your article number should be unique in the way it describes the qualities of the product. It also helps you to identify the article if it refers to some of characteristics (type, color, size etc. Let’s say the article number of a white, patterned 4 dl tea cup could be TEAC04-W-P).

Barcode: When we move and transfer products, we identify (read) them with a manual scanner. If your products have no original barcodes, please read the following guidelines carefully:

Product name: The only purpose of this data is to make it easier for you and us to identify your items. It is not a problem if the names of your products at your webshop and Webshippy are not identical. Stock synchronization only considers the article numbers, not the names.
