For products listed in the Marketplace catalogue, you need to specify the wholesale price you want to receive when selling the product, as well as the recommended retail price, which is a guideline for sellers on how to price the product on their own platform.
You may wish to modify these prices. There are several options available to you to change the prices. The new prices will take effect from 0:00 on the 2nd day after the modification. Until then, you will still be billed at the old price for products sold by the online shops you are selling from.
Example: you adjust the price of the products you offer on Tuesday. The new prices will take effect at 0:00 on Thursday, the 2nd day.
Important! The online stores that have selected your products for sale will receive 2 email notifications of price changes. First at 0:00 the day after the change, and then again at 0:00 the day after the change goes live.
Manual change
If you only want to change the price of a few products, the easiest way to do this is manually. Click on "Marketplace" - "List in catalogue", select the product you want to change the price of from the list and first inactivate the product from the catalogue by clicking on the button in front of the product name, as this is the only way to change any of its details.
Then overwrite the price you want to change (the wholesale price and/or suggested retail price of the product)
After the modification, activate the product, so it will be added to the catalogue again and will be available again.
Changes in bulk using excel spreadsheet
It's easier and faster to change the price of multiple products in bulk using excel.
First import your products ("Product management" - "Products" menu item, then "Actions" button - "Export products" option), then open the spreadsheet and overwrite the price you want to modify (wholesale price, suggested retail price).
After modifying and saving, upload the table to Webshippy (by clicking on "Actions": "Import products (XLSX)")
Modify tables using API
If your system is connected to Webshippy via API, you can update prices via API connection. The Marketplace Price Change API endpoint can be used to update prices.
