There are no customs clearance requirements for parcels sent within the European Union, but special rules apply if your order is destined for a country outside the EU. For parcels sent outside the EU, in addition to the need to include a printed invoice, the following options are taken into account.

IMPORTANT! If you have selected online automatic billing as way of automatic billing, you must direct your orders coming from outside the EU to a separate sales channel. If you haven’t chosen automatic billing at Webshippy, then you must upload and manually attach the invoices for your orders for outside the EU.

Covering customs clearance charges

If customs are imposed on the products in your order, a charge of handling customs clearance will incur. You can cover these charges yourself by ticking this option.

(While you have the possibility to cover the customs clearance, YOUR CUSTOMER MAY HAVE TO PAY ADDITIONAL DUTY IN THE DESTINATION COUNTRY!)

Option of free returns

You can guarantee a free return option to your customers outside the EU to put them more at ease. In this case the incurred charge is on you, so only tick this option if you are ready to cover them.

Setting a default product type

During customs clearance, the possible customs cost will be determined on the basis of the type of product in the package. If you only sell products of the same type in your online shop, you do not need to specify the product type at product level, you just need to enter it once here in "Settings".
