Modify orders containing Marketplace catalogue products

In some cases, you may need to modify an order containing a product selected from the Marketplace catalog. If the modification only affects the shipping address details (customer address, contact details) or the payment or shipping method, you can edit them in the same way as any other order. On the other hand, if the modification concerns the composition/content of the order, i.e. a new product needs to be added or a product needs to be deleted, there are two options for modifying such orders. It is recommended that you make the change preferably before purchasing the product.

Modify order before product procurement

If you have not yet purchased a Marketplace catalogue product for your order, you can edit it in the same way as any other order. You can find detailed information on how to do this here:

Modify Order after Product Procurement

If you want to modify your order after the Product Purchase, you need to follow these steps. Please pay attention to the order of the steps:

  • After purchasing a product, wait until the product is in stock. For products in stock immediately after payment, this will be done immediately. After payment, for 1-3 days stock, this will be done 1-3 working days after payment - in the latter case, only take the next step once the products have been received.

  • Copy order: create a copy of the order. Click on Order Management - Orders and then on the order ID you want to modify. In the top right corner of the order page, select "Actions" - "Copy Order"

  • Modify the order: in the copy (which will be identified by "/2", e.g. the copy of 10645 will be 10645/2), make the necessary changes, save the order and set it to "Packable" status. Once you have done this, you will see the following error message:

  • Delete original order: delete the original order from Webshippy's system

Follow the same steps as for other orders containing Marketplace products.

Don't be surprised if our system prompts you to purchase Products again, because all that is required is a confirmation that the products from the deleted old order that you have previously paid for and have in your inventory (i.e. own) can be assigned to the new order (you can see this system message below) so that these previously purchased Marketplace catalog products can be posted in your new modified content order. Once confirmed, the order will start processing.

IMPORTANT! With the Confirmation product purchase, WAIT until the 1-3 day old external warehouse products that you purchased and paid for in the original order arrive in our warehouse, because the system cannot offer you the option of purchasing at zero cost (it wants to make you pay again for the product you have already paid for)!

Update the status of your completed order in your webshop

Due to the new order ID ("/2"), the status of the new order created as a copy cannot be updated by Webshippy to "Completed" in your webshop, so you need to do it manually in the admin interface of your webshop.
