Under Russian law, parcels sent to Russia are cleared through customs, but parcels sent to private individuals are not. Therefore, only companies are allowed to receive parcels sent here.

On entry, the customs team outside will contact the addressee (based on the tax number). For private persons, the parcel will not be delivered, in such cases it will be returned.

The possible conditions for a successful delivery are:
- the company actually enters the shipment - and DHL will invoice the company;
- a brokerage company is used by the recipient to enter the country on their behalf and their services include customs clearance, parcel pick-up.
