With Packing Rules, you can easily create conditional actions that are taken into account when packets are assembled. As a condition, you can specify which products should be ordered when the rule is applied, and as an event, which other items, gift items, coupons or flyers should be placed in the package when the rule is applied.

You can create Packing rules at "Order Management" โ€“ "Packing rules". First, you give a name to the rule and select the webshop you would like to apply it to. Also, if you wish, you can even set an expiry date. If you select an expiry date, the rule will be applied within the given timeframe.

Next, you can control the conditions under which the packing rule adds the desired item to the package. You can choose between two main directions: run the rule on all the packages or only when certain conditions are fulfilled.

When setting rules, you can provide several conditions at the same time.

After selecting the conditions for the packaging rules, you can choose the products you would like us to add to the orders. You have the option to add this gift item to the invoice generated with the order. In the case of marketing material, for instance, it is better not to indicate them on the invoice. However, with gifts or promotional items, it may be necessary to display them on the invoice.

After saving the packaging rule, your new and compliant orders will automatically have the rule applied.

IMPORTANT!!! Note that the packaging rule is not editable. If a change is needed, it is necessary to copy an existing rule and inactivate the old rule.

When inactivating, you can choose to remove the products included in the rule from your pending orders. This is useful if, for example, you have run out of marketing material to include in your package and would like your orders to be fulfilled regardless.
